Is there a College bus service?

We offer four Free College Bus Services. The bus routes are FREE for you if you are a student at Barnsley College. At this time, the buses are running on a “first-come, first-served” basis and students do not need to book a place to access these services. Each route will operate in the morning in order to get you into College before lessons start and a return service will operate from Old Mill Lane campus at the end of the day.

For more information visit our Student Travel page.

Will I get any financial support?

The Stanley Race Apprenticeship Bursary is a financial support scheme designed to help support post-16 work related study in Barnsley and to help young people to develop their potential and careers. The bursary can provide funding for essential books to short term travel expenses.
